As far as we understand, self-reflection is a purely human response. There are theories that try and argue that we are all participating in a computer simulated reality, but if we are, the simulation is so good, it really doesn't matter, try and enjoy it.

I am human, and I know this because of how I feel when I look at the sunrise (I took this pick from my window as I was responding).. feeling anything at all - good or bad - makes us human, and the ability to express that makes us more so.

Raises the question of what humanity is and how we define it. Become more relevant as time goes on, especially when AI is becoming more human and free thinking, and humans are becoming more dependant on drugs and technology.
