I have too mc\uch going on. I want 10 lifetimes to get to experience all of these interwesting rabbit holes and deep dives. I'm a musician, an artist, a technologist/engineer, a photographer but due to the breath a master of none -- a generalist to a fault. I've been told to "FOCUS" before. I know about the 10,000 hours to mastery 'thing.' My question goes out to fellow creatives who've found their way out of a similar situation to a simpler, more satisfying approach to creativity that doesn't feel like hundreds of unfinished projects, or force you to give up things that you love, or still want to explore. How did YOU do it? What works (for you)? What doesn't? Pleasse share your hard-won wisdom with a creative soul drowning in backlog.

Hi Supertwang, Ok not sure if this will help. Focus is not always the answer in large scale. This is how I have started turning around my overload. Perhaps it will help. I pick at least one of my pieces of gears a day and spend some time on it. I pick at random and at first 15 mins was I I could do before on to the next gleem in my eye. As I learned a bit more on each I was able to give more time. I also discovered the each daily gem was building and increasing my skills and that evil word focus. My modular instructor has drilled in to her students. Your are not behind and right where you need to be. I still have a long way to go but for the first time in 10+ years of collecting gear and training classes I am using more and more of m gear. I an now patching across everything, trying new things and having fun and started build tracks. Do repeat the quests as others may have ideas that may work better for you . - - Glenn
